Single-Line Diagrams and Engineering
Turn the network on the map into electrical diagrams and studies.
Single-Line Diagrams
- Zoom to the area you want and make sure the detailed layers are loaded (switch on Autoload Details, or load the network's layers).
- Choose Single-Line Diagram on the map. The diagram is built from the detailed layers that intersect the captured map view.
- Select a node to inspect the simplified asset metadata. Choose Map to return.
- Choose Open in Grid Circuit Builder to create an unsaved Engineering Studies circuit draft from exactly what is displayed.
Single-line diagrams are a Pro and Enterprise feature. They are simplified representations for planning; always validate topology with the network service provider.
Engineering Studies and Circuit Builder
Build and edit circuits, run feeder studies, and check ratings and protection data. Circuits can be exported to PSS/E.
Project Modelling
- Feasibility: capture a site, size generation and storage, and review connection readiness and hosting capacity, then export a presentation.
- System Feasibility: assess a community or system load profile.
- Power Planning: plan builds with unit commitment, maximum build MW and MWh, reserves and global constraints.
