Bring Network Map data into the tools your team already uses.
QGIS
- Export SHP or GeoJSON (Enterprise), or download a GeoPackage or GeoJSON from the free renewables pipeline.
- In QGIS choose Layer → Add Layer → Add Vector Layer and select the file. For the public API, paste the API URL (for example
https://renewables.networkmap.energy/api/geojson?region=NSW1) as the source.
ArcGIS
Add exported shapefiles or GeoJSON with Add Data, or use JSON To Features for GeoJSON.
Power BI
- Choose Get Data → Web and paste a public API URL.
- For GeoJSON, expand
features, thenpropertiesandgeometry.coordinatesto columns. - For generation data, each row is a
[timestamp_ms, MW]pair; convert the timestamp with#datetime(1970,1,1,0,0,0) + #duration(0,0,0,[ms]/1000).
Excel
Open CSV exports directly, or use Data → From Web with a public API URL.
AI Assistants (MCP)
- In Network Map, open My Account and find the MCP Server card (Pro and Enterprise).
- Create a token: give it a label and choose an expiry. Copy the token and the connection URL.
- Add the server
https://mcp.networkmap.energy/mcpto Claude or another MCP-compatible assistant using that token. - Revoke a token at any time from the same card; it stops working immediately.
Enterprise API and Single Sign-On
